Post Natal Vaginal Delivery

Definition:
After a vaginal delivery, taking good care of yourself is an essential part of postpartum care. If you had an episiotomy or vaginal tear during delivery, the wound might hurt for a few weeks. Extensive tears might take longer to heal. Things to be expected are vaginal soreness, vaginal discharge, contractions, urrination problems, and hemerrhoids and bowel movements. These are some basic exercises that can be built into your day to improve pelvic floor muscle tone to get you back to pre-pregnancy strength.
