  • Loss of ROM in the of hip, knee, ankle, foot and toes
  • Weakness of the gluteal muscles
Causes
  • Direct or indirect pelvic trauma
  • Prolonged pressure on the nerve
  • Obstetric complications
  • Compression or entrapment of the nerve by nearby parts of the body or disease-related structures (such as a tumor)
  • Diabetes
Treatment
  • ROM and stretching exercises
  • Lower extremity strengthening exercises
  • Core stabilization exercises
