Definition:
Thoracic disc disorder with myelopathy involves bulging or displacement of discs between the vertebrae of the thoracic spine (thoracic intervertebral disc herniation) with accompanying spinal cord compression. Myelopathy is an inclusive term referring to any disease of the spinal canal. The thoracic region specifies the middle portion of the spine.
