
Quadricep Tendinitis

- Pain in the knee above the patella
- Pain at the start of activity and ache after activity or in the evening
- Stiffness in the knee
- Point tender at the quadriceps tendon

- Repetitive quadriceps activation- running, cutting, kicking
- Muscle imbalance
- Structural abnormalities

- Examine your shoes regularly for wear
- ROM and stretching
- Knee stabilization exercises
- Lower extremity strengthening
- Correct faulty running and/or walking patterns
