Definition:
Fixed deformity in which the forepart of the foot is rotated on the long axis of the foot, so that the plantar surface faces the midline of the body.
Symptoms- First metatarsal bone in the foot is rotated and angled away from the second metatarsal bone
- Pain in the foot or asymptomatic
Causes- Congenital
Treatment- Possible surgical intervention
- Progress to ROM and stretching
- Foot intrinsic muscle strengthening
- Lower extremity strengthening
