Definition:
Inflammation of the tendons attached to the flexor digitorum longus.

Symptoms
  • Pain in the bottom of the toes, near ball of foot
  • Pain with running, jumping, hopping
  • Stiffness in the mornings
  • Point tender on tendon

  • Repetitive toe flexion (Ballet dancers)
