Bucket Handle Tear Medial Meniscus

Definition:
A tear in one of the menisci of a knee joint, near the rim and following its curvature, which can allow a flap of cartilage to impede movement of the joint.

Symptoms
  • Intermittent locking of the knee

  • Pain with full knee flexion
  • Point tender on joint line
